Week 3 - Snow, Ice, & Almost Two

I already posted this one on facebook, but I will share again along with some other snowflake macros, which I am so excited about! This was my first time using extension tubes, now I just can't wait for another snow to try again and for spring time to use them for flower photos.

SNOW:





And I ventured out in the cold Saturday to visit the Delmar Loop Ice Carnival. I took photos of some of the ice sculptures they had on display, and this was my favorite outside Blueberry Hill.

My BABY is only two months away from two. Is he terrible yet? See for yourself.

He came home from daycare last Monday, and his shirt was much more colorful than when I dropped him off. I asked him if he was coloring on his belly today, and he lifted his shirt. To my surprise, he really WAS coloring on his belly:



This weekend, I wanted to test out one of my lenses to decide if I want to hold on to it or sell it. I put Abram on my bed so I could see how it focused at a few different focal lengths. Abram didn't want to pose, he wanted to jump!
