I made some headbands and played around with "textures" in photoshop. Textures do just what they sound like - make a photo look like it has texture.

Light texture:

Heavy texture:

And I got to use the headbands when I did a newborn session for my cousin this week. I am totally in love with her hair and lips.

I am also working on Easter photos for a friend. check out this adorable almost-6-month-old:

While I was setting up, Abram actually wanted to sit on the backdrop. It was nice to have someone to sit in so I could check my settings... but WHY does he not want to do this when I am TRYING to take his photo?

I am having so much fun taking photos as you can see! I am finally getting better at editing to the point that making needed adjustments isn't taking me a hundred tries... and editing isn't so much of a painful, lengthy endeavor.
Thank you to those of you have been supporting and encouraging me as I have been in this learning process. I have had many hobbies and interests before, but photography is definitely becoming more of a *love* than just something to do. And, please, show me some love if you like a photo I post here or elsewhere. Feedback is always appreciated!
