Week 14

I was busy this week with photos for a family member and a friend, so I just have some snapshots of Abram to share from hanging out here at home. I know they are not the best photos, I was testing some lighting and a lens, but some of you just like to see your weekly bit of Abram. Here he is running back and forth between the dining and living room to look out the windows for birds. He always has something in his hands and has started to show his preference for no pants. He is also as excited about spring as me! The flowers and animals outside always get his attention.

I made some headbands and played around with "textures" in photoshop. Textures do just what they sound like - make a photo look like it has texture.

And I got to use the headbands when I did a newborn session for my cousin this week. I am totally in love with her hair and lips.

I am also working on Easter photos for a friend. check out this adorable almost-6-month-old:

While I was setting up, Abram actually wanted to sit on the backdrop. It was nice to have someone to sit in so I could check my settings... but WHY does he not want to do this when I am TRYING to take his photo?

I am having so much fun taking photos as you can see! I am finally getting better at editing to the point that making needed adjustments isn't taking me a hundred tries... and editing isn't so much of a painful, lengthy endeavor.

Thank you to those of you have been supporting and encouraging me as I have been in this learning process. I have had many hobbies and interests before, but photography is definitely becoming more of a *love* than just something to do. And, please, show me some love if you like a photo I post here or elsewhere. Feedback is always appreciated!
