Week 37

This weekend we went to the Great Balloon Race at Forest Park.  Abram liked seeing the balloons from a distance and seeing all the dogs people brought along.

The noise from the burners blowing up the balloons scared Abram, so he was clinging to his Daddy while I took photos.


There is a balloon race photo contest (winner gets 2 movie tickets a month for a year) and I didn't get anything special.  The skies were dreary by the time we found a parking spot and only a few balloons were blown up during the allotted time for photographers to be on the fields.  I am hoping the judges are feeling patriotic because this is the best shot I have:

And we stopped on the way back to the car for a couple pictures because the park was looking so green and pretty.  Abram wouldn't sit still by himself, so I got to be in a photo:



Then Abram got to ride in his stroller "Upside Down Show" style.  In case you know this annoying television show, Abram has only been allowed to see it a few times.  Still, any time anything is upside down he gets excited and says "Upside Down Show!"
