Week 42

This was a slow week for photos - report cards and parent teacher conferences took up all my extra time.  Adrian and I went to a wedding Saturday night, but I always feel awkward and invasive holding a camera during the ceremony so I didn't take any photos of the couple.  After the ceremony, I took a couple pics and then had to crank up my ISO to 3200 (which I have never done before) to take a few reception photos.  With all the grain, those are hardly worth sharing, but I would be without any photos from the week otherwise!

Father of the groom and his granddaughter:.. obviously not expecting his photo to be taken!

It was an outdoor ceremony and a bit of a trek from the ceremony site to the reception site... so I snapped one pic of people walking while Adrian went to get the car:

Here's what happens at ISO3200 (and I was really pushing it at 1/400 and open wide with my 85mm):

The parents of that cute little girl in the first photo (even too grainy for black and white, but I thought it was sweet despite the grain):

And a "cheat" for this week.  The photo was actually taken today (not during week 42).  SOOC except for contrast and sharpen for web:

The kiss is cute, I don't think too grainy in b/w. I'm also partial to the walking photo, and, of course, the last one is great!
