So maybe I got a little too busy here at the end of the year and didn't keep up. We still managed to make lots of memories and I took plenty of photos to remind me of them for years to come.
OCTOBER
We joined in the fun of the chili cookoff with the McCoy family again this year.
Spent time with family as usual.
Abram kind of chose his Halloween costume this year. This one met my parameters of no mask and that I could have a hand in making. My little "Luke":
And we went trick or treating with a friend in the neighborhood
NOVEMBER
I bought a new camera in November... but these were the only two shots I kept from it. It had some focus issues and the only photos in focus were the ones where Abram was running toward me! I was disappointed, but I did get to return it. November was a bit of a bust.
DECEMBER
I went with Abram's Pre-K class to the Tree Farm. It is tough to take pictures and supervise 3 year olds :) Poor kids had to stare straight at the sun for all the group shots, too.
Abram was so happy his Grandpa Chip got to come along, too!
We went back to the farm to get our own tree.
Decorated
Went on the Polar Express in Branson. I recommend it for three year olds for sure! It was wonderful family time and good to get away from our usual habits at home and just focus on being together with nothing else "to do".
Abram had his Christmas program - his class sang "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas".
We had lots of fun time during winter break and Abram got everything on his Christmas list and then some. He asked for Ninja Turtles and a hippopotamus, but also got Avengers, a piano, and LOTS of Legos!
Abram asked for me to take his picture, and I don't think I'd taken a photo of Hawk all of 2012.
