Abram and I went to the airshow in the crazy heat. He lasted 40 minutes of sitting out in the sun and loved watching the planes, but crabbiness took over and I was ready to cool off, too. This was a great spot to view the show (by the Casino Queen) and I hope to watch fireworks here next year!
Almost too embarrassing to post this sweaty mess of a photo, but I do like to be on the other side of the camera every so often (photo credit- some random guy at the air show):
The Sunday night fireworks at the arch were cancelled, but we did head to Millstadt for some small-town style fireworks on the 4th.

What fun plane photos. Great captures. I really love how the plane is flying into view in the first one and under the arch in the third one.
