Abram loved that he could hear his voice echo in the art galleries, so he was making some loud noises during the tour, but he got really excited over a video exhibit of blind men describing an elephant (Javier Tellez’s [Venezuelan, b. 1969] video Letter from the Blind for the Use of Those Who See). The video was projected onto a large wall and Abram was running around saying "Ephant, ephant".
After the tour, we stayed to create a shadow puppet.

I started off with the intent of making a pig, but Abram just liked to stick a bunch together.

We ended up with a random shape with curly antennae.

Yea. Definitely doesn't resemble a pig.

Abram was thrilled to put his puppet in the show:

We want to head back next month when the exhibit changes, so if any mommies would like to join us on July 5th we'd love it!
On Thursday, Abram was photographer's assistant for me. He showed Greta where to sit:

He showed Greta "the spot" to stand on:

Greta hurried away from "the spot":

Abram was such a well-behaved assistant that he deserved some one-on-one playtime with mommy. We had a picnic (McDonald's style) at the park Thursday afternoon:

And Abram, of course, brought along his choo-choos and played:

When we decided to go for a walk, we stuffed all the choo choos in Abram's pockets. I think they may have been too heavy... and Abram thought this was hilarious!

So the trains got returned to the car and Abram found another great toy: a stick!

 this boy

And on Friday we got to hang out with Jennie and Mia to swim. Jennie took this photo of Abram, looking serious... and seriously handsome:

And here is her shot of her sweet old dog, Odie (also taken by Jennie):
