It is one of those shots that makes me completely love my camera because I could never have caught this with the delay on a point and shoot.

When I can't think of much else to do, and especially when the skies are overcast like today, I go for little drives around town and try out/practice with lighting and set ups at various photo locations. I was intending to make it to the gardens at SIUE to try somewhere new, but instead spent almost an hour letting Abram play on campus. I think this was his first time really paying attention to puddles. What a blast!

Full of energy after a morning at home due to rain!

Abram was being my little supermodel here and growling to look "fierce" like Tyra Banks says.

We went to check out these mushroom statues on campus:

And Abram in black & white:

Grandma and Grandpa gave Abram a cute new shirt. That's a good enough reason for a photo shoot, right?
I feel like he belongs in a catalog here:

He thought his hat needed adjusting:

And he went on the real swing for the first time at the park:

I also took pictures over the last couple weeks for 3 friends. I am still working on editing them, but had to share these cute kiddos!
Greta's 18 month photos:

JJ is turning 1 (his eyes are so blue!):

Wes is 3 months old:

Adorable photos, those expressions are priceless and I love the ones with the puddles. Great photos and great conversion on the B&W.
I love the pictures of Adam playing in the puddle and with the mushrooms. It looks like something from Alice and Wonderland.
You are so talented! I love these!
How AWESOME is his t-shirt? He is such a little super model.
OMGoodness Abram is so cute! I love his hair and outfit, so cute! Great photos!
Love that first shot! Getting little boys airborne like that really shows how much they MOVE! :)
